Replace one tile between tenants, not the whole room

Broadloom carpet usually means replacing the whole room when one area is damaged. With carpet tile, you replace only the tile that needs it.

  • Replace only what is damaged. Swap out the affected tile and keep the rest of the floor.
  • Dye-lot-free, so replacements match. Our tiles are made dye-lot-free, so a single replacement tile ordered later is made to match the tiles already on the floor.
  • Peel and stick with an attached pad. There is no separate pad to buy and no glue to mix or spread. Maintenance staff can install tiles quickly with no special tools, which helps turn units faster.
  • Seamless appearance. Each 18"x18" tile is cut without cutting the face fibers, so installed tiles blend together and look like wall to wall carpet.

Choose the right line for the unit

Every line is a peel and stick tile with an attached pad, dye-lot-free construction and 18"x18" tiles. A full box is 10 tiles and covers 22.5 sq ft.

Feather (3 Diamond): value and fast turns

An 18 oz face weight and attached pad make Feather a practical value choice for rental properties. It installs in minutes, which suits quick unit turns between tenants, and it is an affordable choice for managers who carpet many units.

Peak Performance (5 Diamond): high-traffic areas

Peak Performance has a 40 oz face weight and attached cushion. It is our most durable and plushest tile, built for the busiest rooms. PureColor fiber resists staining from things like red wine, chocolate and pet stains, and the color runs all the way through each fiber.

Example: one damaged area, two ways to fix it

This is an illustrative example only. The room size and number of damaged tiles are assumptions chosen to show the math, not results or averages. Per square foot costs are our current box price divided by the 22.5 sq ft in a full box, rounded to the cent, and prices can change. Tiles are sold by the full box. Labor, shipping and tax are not included.

Assume a 10 ft x 12 ft room (120 sq ft) with two damaged tiles (2 x 2.25 sq ft = 4.5 sq ft). We compare replacing just the two tiles with replacing the whole room in the same line.

Line Cost per sq ft (box price / 22.5 sq ft) Replace two tiles (4.5 sq ft) Replace the whole room (120 sq ft)
Feather (3 Diamond) $62.99 / 22.5 = $2.80 4.5 x $2.80 = $12.60 120 x $2.80 = $336.00
Eclipse (4 Diamond) $69.99 / 22.5 = $3.11 4.5 x $3.11 = $14.00 120 x $3.11 = $373.20
Peak Performance (5 Diamond) $82.99 / 22.5 = $3.69 4.5 x $3.69 = $16.61 120 x $3.69 = $442.80

The point of the example is the difference in area: replacing two tiles covers 4.5 sq ft instead of 120 sq ft, so you buy and install far less material for the same repair. Use your own room sizes to estimate your units, or request a quote for your property.
